About

Join us on Wednesdays for a fresh new idea to stimulate your writer’s mind.  Write on your blog and share the link to your post, write in your journal just for yourself, write on a napkin in your favorite coffeeshop.

The idea is just to write.

On Wednesday, and everyday.

Becca Rowan is a medical technical writer by day, but her creative side flourishes on the internet. Besides Write on Wednesday, she can be found blogging at Becca’s Byline and Bookstack. She is also a Contributing Editor for All Things Girl magazine.  If Becca’s not reading, writing, or playing the piano, you’ll probably find her out walking her two Shih Tzu’s, Magic and Molly Mei, or playing with her brand new grandson, Connor, who was born on November 14, 2011.

Becca and her husband divide their time between Detroit, Michigan, and Naples, Florida.

I just discovered your site and love the idea. I am already writing with Stacey’s Two Writing Teachers on Memoir Mondays and Slice of Life Tuesdays. And I created a Photo/Text sharing site on Flickr: Photo Fridays. I know that there’s a Web Wednesday where teachers share explorations with new web tools but I haven’t jumped there yet.

What I love about all these days is the growing community to write with, something that seems much more difficult to do face-to-face. So I’m moving over to my blog to get crackin for tomorrow.

I hope someone sees this comment. As you can see it’s been inactive since last year. Anyway, I’m interested in joining. NOt sure how that’s done. My understanding from the above is that I can put up a post on my blog in response to the post here, then put it in the comments section here with a link back to my blog. Is that how it works? I tend to stumble to begin with…

I love the idea of this blog and want to participate but, like Joanne, I am wondering if it is still active.

Just found this. Are you still active? I will post the link and take part if you’re still going to do this. It’s a great idea!

I googled ‘poetry about coming alive’, and found this site.
Writing is, for me, all about the process of coming alive; I think it’s no coincidence that, in this pursuit, I found this site.
So–thank you. I’m excited to read future posts, and hopefully post some of my own!

I’m glad that it turned out so effectively and I hope it will continue in the future because it is so worthwhile and meaningful to the community. agddgecadegc
