About

Write On Wednesday is a weekly writer’s roundtable where those who love to write can gather to share thoughts on the process and craft.

Topics are posted each Wednesday, and you’re invited to participate by (1) writing a post on your blog and linking to it in the comments section or (2) leaving your response as a comment.  Comments are open for one week (or until the next topic is posted).

So, pull up a chair, grab your pen, and Write On Wednesday!

I just discovered your site and love the idea. I am already writing with Stacey’s Two Writing Teachers on Memoir Mondays and Slice of Life Tuesdays. And I created a Photo/Text sharing site on Flickr: Photo Fridays. I know that there’s a Web Wednesday where teachers share explorations with new web tools but I haven’t jumped there yet.

What I love about all these days is the growing community to write with, something that seems much more difficult to do face-to-face. So I’m moving over to my blog to get crackin for tomorrow.

So for tomorrow you will post a new prompt on that day to write to yes?

psst! you might want to check your links here … one of them’s not quite right.

I hope someone sees this comment. As you can see it’s been inactive since last year. Anyway, I’m interested in joining. NOt sure how that’s done. My understanding from the above is that I can put up a post on my blog in response to the post here, then put it in the comments section here with a link back to my blog. Is that how it works? I tend to stumble to begin with…

I love the idea of this blog and want to participate but, like Joanne, I am wondering if it is still active.

Just found this. Are you still active? I will post the link and take part if you’re still going to do this. It’s a great idea!

I googled ‘poetry about coming alive’, and found this site.
Writing is, for me, all about the process of coming alive; I think it’s no coincidence that, in this pursuit, I found this site.
So–thank you. I’m excited to read future posts, and hopefully post some of my own!
